In observance of World Computer Literacy Day, Mrs.Trusha Sankhe organized an engaging lecture for IT/CS students in their IT/CS lecture at St John Junior College. The session aimed to emphasize the importance of computer literacy in today’s digital world. Targeting IT and Computer Science students, the lecture focused on essential computer skills and the significance of cybersecurity. Through a PowerPoint presentation, Students gained valuable insights into how computers influence various industries and the importance of staying updated with technological advancements.
The lecture also emphasized the importance of enhancing skills beyond the classroom to improve both academic performance and career prospects. The event was open to all IT/CS students from the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams, with the session being led by their respective CS Teacher: Mrs Trusha Sankhe, and IT teachers: Ms. Nidhi Dubey for Science students and Mrs. Shreeya Patil for Commerce students. It concluded with a lively Q&A session, providing students with the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions on the topics covered.
