World AIDS Day
Objective: To spread awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care.
World AIDS Day awareness is celebrated on 10 December in ST. JOHN JUNIOR COLLEGE. It’s an opportunity for students to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day.
St. John Junior College celebrated AIDS DAY on 10th December 2024. The day is an opportunity to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care around the world. It has become one of the most widely recognized international health days and a key opportunity to raise awareness. The event was conducted successfully and participants were given presentations in groups. The theme for the PPT presentation was “World AIDS Day Awareness”. Several students from Science, Commerce, and Arts participated in the contest. Winners of the PPT presentation are Lalit Maurya, Arjunsingh Rajput & Raunak Gharat.
