Clay Ganpati making Competition was held on 17 th September 2022, Saturday, in St. John Junior College, Palghar. The competition was organised by Mrs. Pranjali Patil. Ganpati festival is celebrated with zeal throughout India. It is a festival of Joy and prosperity.
Ganesha is the ‘God of New Beginnings’ and the ‘Remover of Obstacles’ as well as the god of wisdom and intelligence.
The event started with a warm welcome of the Principal, judges, teachers & participants. The students enthusiastically participated in the competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent. Students used clay and moulded them to make ganesha idol. They explored their creative side by moulding clay and turning it into Ganesha idol.
Students of XI & XII standard participated in the competition and made beautiful Ganesha idols.They were judged on the basis of Creativity, Neatness, Presentation and durability. It was a difficult task for the judges to select winners. Students shared First, Second and Third ranks.
