Science Behind Festivals – Online Session

An online session was conducted on Science behind the festivals on 4th September 2021. The Resource Person was our beloved Principal Mrs. Suchita Gharat. The students from XII Science, Commerce and Arts attended this online session on Google Meet.
The scientific facts behind Hindu festivals like Makarsankranti, Holika Dahan, Gudipadwa, Vat Purnima, Ganesh Pooja, Navratri, Diwali etc. were discussed. The session was organised with the objective to diminish superstitious beliefs and myths from students’ minds and to inculcate scientific outlook.
The students enjoyed this new learning of facts.
