Report on History Quiz Competition

The History Quiz Competition was successfully organized on 23rd June 2025 in the Class XII Arts classroom under the guidance of the Arts Department. Such competitions aim to deepen knowledge of historical facts, strengthen critical thinking, which are a common way to assess knowledge quickly and efficiently. The main objective of the competition was to make the learning process interactive and fun, encouraging participants to explore and remember historical details.

The quiz was divided into three interesting rounds:

1. General Round – based on basic concepts of History such as Pre Independence period, World war, and India Transformed.
2. Rapid Fire Round – where students were tested on their quick thinking and accuracy in answering questions.
3. Visual Round – included questions based on pictures, logos, and identification of historical places.

Students were grouped into 4 teams (5 participants)– A, B, C, D, each team participated enthusiastically and showcased excellent teamwork, logical reasoning, and knowledge of the subject.

After a closely contested battle of knowledge, the results were as follows:

First Position: Team D (consisting of Vedika Jambhale, Advi Gharat, Valencia Dsilva, Raushan Chauhan, & Chinmay Bhoir)

The winners were appreciated by the teacher-in-charge and motivated to keep up their efforts. The competition proved to be highly beneficial for the students as it not only strengthened their subject knowledge but also improved their communication skills, confidence, and ability to work as a team.

The event concluded on a positive note, leaving the students inspired to participate in more such academic activities in the future.
