National Cancer Awareness Day

National Cancer Awareness Day is celebrated in India on 7^th November. The day is important, it educates people about the serious threat i.e. cancer. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cancer is the second-deadliest disease which causes death among people.

The condition of people dying by cancer is India is a serious threat to the nation. In 2018, 1.5 million people from India, died of cancer. Thus, to raise awareness about cancer, the day is observed on November 7.

The National Awareness Day was celebrated in our St. John Junior College virtually. With the theme of “Awareness of Cancer”, a poster competition was conducted for the students. The students participated, showed positive involvement through their artistic and creative work
