Kargil Vijay Diwas

It was a beautiful day with clouds in Sky creating wonderful view. But Back in 1999 on the same day the black clouds (Pakistani Intruder) surrounding our Indian border at Kargil sector were completely wiped out by our Brave Indian Soldiers with the victory of Kargil War.

The Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated in St. John Junior College on 26th July, 2019. Total Ten students from 11th Commerce & Science took active participation in the program. The program was organised by Ripesh Sir with the help of Mary miss, Anamika Miss & other teaching faculties of St. John Junior College.

The program was designed such that maximum information about Kargil War & Kargil War heros could be provided to the students. Two girls Shamira & Vridhi started the program with the narration & provided the basic information about Kargil Vijay Diwas. The Eight boys were playing the character of Indian Army Officers & provided information about their life and War related incidences.

All the students playing the characters of War Heros entered the class with stamping march & took the different positions in whole class to represent the different points which were captured during War. The narrators narrated nicely & Students (representing Officers) came upto the stage one by one & presented the story of Army Officers related to Kargil War, the difficulties they faced & how they managed to achieve those targets. The program was very informative for students. The staff members of St. John Junior College were present for maintenance of discipline & photography of the event.

Finally the program ended with the chanting of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
