World Environment Day
World Environment Day was celebrated on 10th June 2023 in St. John Junior College, Palghar. World Environment Day was celebrated with STD. 12th students. Principal Madam Mrs. Suchita Gharat graced the celebration by her presence and addressing the students by telling them the importance of Environment. They also learnt about various Environmental benefits.
Students of grade 12 participated in the activity of World Environment Day for which the students were provided branches of trees and were told to plant them and grow them with required care. The students have to note the procedure and click photographs and videos of the same and submit it to the college on World Conservation Day 28th July, 2023. Few other students were interested in getting a flowering plant.
The main concern of this activity is that students should have the habit of planting trees. Students of grade 12th participated in this activity and interested teachers were given branches to plant. The whole activity was undertaken by the guidance of Ms. Namrata Falcao-The head of Social Outreach and Environment Outlook Club.
