International Environment Day

‘Best out of waste’ competition was conducted on 18^th July 2020 on account of ‘International Environment Day’ at St. John Junior College.

The online programme was organised by Ms. Priyanka Tavares, to make students understand the importance of environment. Students made various models from waste available at their home. The models prepared by the students were showcased through online vedio conferencing due to pandemic situation (Covid 19).

Students made very beautiful models using different waste like plastic bottles, egg shells, etc and various models like garden, cloth bag, pen stand etc were made. All models displayed were outstanding and very beautiful. It was indeed great to see students making such useful things from waste.

So overall it was a great experience watching students interestingly participating in online ‘Best out of Waste’ competition

The winners of ‘Best Out Of Waste’ competition are as follows:

1^st Rank – Harsh Mhatre (XII Commerce)

2^nd Rank– Fatema Kamdar (XII Commerce)

3^rd Rank– Mahenoor Raut (XII Commerce)
