Report on Banking Quiz Competition

The Banking Quiz Competition was successfully organized on 18th August 2025 in the Class XII Commerce classroom under the guidance of the Commerce Department. The main objective of the competition was to provide students with deeper insights into the banking system and to enhance their general awareness in a fun and engaging way.

The quiz was divided into three interesting rounds:

1. General Round – based on basic concepts of banking such as bank nationalization, types of banks, and their functions.
2. Rapid Fire Round – where students were tested on their quick thinking and accuracy in answering questions.
3. Visual Round – included questions based on pictures, logos, and identification of negotiable instruments and banking symbols.

Students were grouped into six teams (4 participants)– A, B, C, D, E & F. Each team participated enthusiastically and showcased excellent teamwork, logical reasoning, and knowledge of the subject.

After a closely contested battle of knowledge, the results were as follows:

First Position: Team D (consisting of Janhavi Singh, Gauri Pimple, Tanvi Lokhande & Yusra Khan)

The winners were appreciated by the teacher-in-charge and motivated to keep up their efforts. The competition proved to be highly beneficial for the students as it not only strengthened their subject knowledge but also improved their communication skills, confidence, and ability to work as a team.

The event concluded on a positive note, leaving the students inspired to participate in more such academic activities in the future.
