Introduction

St. John Junior College organized a Website Creation Competition on 13th September 2025, aimed at encouraging students from 11th and 12th grades to develop and showcase their web development skills. The competition was designed to foster creativity, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities in a real-world tech scenario.

Objectives

• To promote interest in web development among junior college students.
• To enhance students’ practical knowledge of designing and coding websites.
• To encourage innovation and creativity in digital content creation.
• To build teamwork and time management skills under competitive conditions.

Competition Details

• Duration: The competition lasted for 3 hours.
• Tools Allowed: Participants used HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Evaluation Criteria:

  • Responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility

Outcome

The competition was highly successful with many innovative and well-coded websites presented by the participants. The judges, comprising faculty members and web development experts, evaluated each submission thoroughly.
