Kite Mahotsav was celebrated on 23rd January 2023, Monday, in St. John Junior College, Palghar. The Mahotsav was organised by Mrs. Pranjali Patil.
Makar Sankranti is the sign for farmers that the sun is back and that the harvest season.This is considered one of the most important harvest days in India as it also marks the end of winter and the beginning of the harvest season.The Varieties of kite flying are done across India.
The Mahotsav started by students bringing vibrant and colourful Kites and decorating the best Kite in the corridors of the college . The students enthusiastically decorated the kites and celebrated the festival.
